Worth the bundle price

I signed up for the Disney Bundle Trio Basic. I was eyeing a few shows on Hulu and ESPN+ as well, so this felt like a solid deal compared to getting them all separately. Saved a good chunk of cash doing it this way. The setup was quick, and I've been watching stuff on all three services without issues. For the price, it's definitely good value.

Good for families, minor glitches

I got the Disney+ Annual Subscription last month. The content library is huge, great for the kids and even some Marvel stuff for me. Streaming quality is generally good, even in 4K. I did have one issue where a show wouldn't load on my smart TV but worked fine on my tablet. Customer service got back to me in a day, which was okay.

Is the basic plan with ads super annoying? Or is it not that bad for just watching movies sometimes?

I had the ad-supported one for a bit, and honestly, the ads weren't too frequent. Mostly just at the start and maybe one or two commercial breaks during a movie. Not like regular TV at all.

My buddy has it and says it's totally fine. Way less ads than regular TV and usually pretty short. If you're just watching casually, it's probably not a big deal for the price difference.

Thinking of getting Disney+ for my kids this summer. Any deals going on right now, or should I wait for something like Black Friday?

R Rachel Vargas 4 months ago
They usually have some kind of bundle deals, especially if you also want Hulu or ESPN+. I saved a bunch getting the annual plan once, that's almost always a better deal than going monthly.

Hard to say for summer, but they def do big promos around things like Disney+ Day or Black Friday. If you're not in a rush, you might catch something better later in the year.
